Welcome to the page of L’Anxova Milionària, the number 1 administration of L’Escala, a municipality on the Costa Brava famous for its anchovies. Hence our name and our logo, a friendly anchovy that, like all of us who are part of the team, is eager to distribute and celebrate prizes.

L’Anxova Milionària was born in 1986 in l’Escala, one of the most charming municipalities on the Costa Brava, which offers visitors a great diversity of seascapes, from steep coves and rocky massifs to sandy beaches. Highlights include Cala Montgó, Riells, the beaches of the old town and those of Empúries.

L’Escala, however, is known throughout because in its municipal area there are the famous ruins of Empúries, the gateway to Greek culture, first, and then to Roman culture in the Iberian Peninsula from the 6th century C. .but also for its anchovies.

That is why our Lottery Administration could not have a more appropriate name: L’Anxova Milionària.

And when it came to looking for a logo, we had it easy: we decided on an anchovy, thus referring to the history and tradition of our city, since it is extracted from a very ancient mosaic of Empúries from which it has been proven that our ancestors had created a good business salting anchovies.

Empúries, L’Escala and its anchovies take us to L’Anxova Milionària. The administration located at number 9 Enrique Sierra Street is already part of the history of the municipality so that since its creation we have distributed the First Prize of the National Lottery on numerous occasions and, very frequently, we have awarded other prizes in all games that we manage, among which is the Quiniela. The average is one major award per year.

Furthermore, from the administration we offer numerous services to our clients through clubs, participations for companies and groups, etc., spreading luck not only to l’Escala and l’Empordà, but also throughout the Spanish State and even abroad.
